I decided to talk to women about their vaginas, to do vagina interviews, which became vagina monologues…At first women were reluctant to talk. They were a little shy. But once they got going, you couldn’t stop them. Women secretly love to talk about their vaginas. They get very excited, mainly because no one’s ever asked them before.
Although the book was quite interesting, I mean… reading what womens have to say about their own vaginas was completely crazy in a good way, it just didn’t hit the mark… What started as a strong, witty manifesto ended up being completely plane and boring… I’m sorry, I really wanted to like this book but I just can’t.
She just added some wikipedia facts about the vagina which I can search for myself thank you very much, plus the whole book was created around the letters women have send talking about their vaginas. Well to be more precise, she copy pasted the letters into the book and that’s the book… Man, it really sucked, a theme that had so much potential. I’ve read it because it was a good topic, Emma Watson had it in her book club and my boyfriend told me that he went to see her (the author) live preaching on the subject, and that sold it. But when I’ve finished it I’ve asked him his honest opinion, without speaking any word of mine and he was completely dissapointed like I was. A lot of hardcore feminist statements as well… Can we fucking embrace equality now please? I mean it’s 2018… and I don’t see women go to work to help the men who fight for their country, for anything really, they just attack for no reason SOMETIME.
